Restorative Yoga Toronto
Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing practice that uses props to support the body in passive poses held for extended periods. It activates the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing stress hormones and promoting deep recovery.
This style is for anyone who feels burned out, sleeps poorly, or struggles to relax. It is also ideal for athletes on recovery days and people navigating anxiety or high-stress lifestyles. You do not need to be flexible — you just need to be still.
Our Yoga Unwind class on Fridays already incorporates restorative elements. We are expanding our restorative offerings at 2100 Bloor St W with longer holds, more props, and guided relaxation for deeper rest.
